Fleece & Yarn
All Shetland fleece and yarn are qualified Traditional 1927® products, as determined by FFSSA grading criteria outlined in the FFSSA grading chart. Wool is tested annually to ensure that the criteria is met.
2024 fleeces have been sheared/rooed and the new Catalog is ready for you!

Lyla's fleece is the only 024 fleece not sold yet. If you love moorit fleeces, this is for you
All fleeces are scissor-sheared by hand or rooed, so there are no second cuts.
Noted in the catalog are sold fleeces and fleeces that were sent to the mill.
We have received requests for yarn in a variety of colors and sent those fleeces for processing.
The mill takes up to six months to process the fleece, but if you would be interested in the yarn,
let us know and you will be notified when the yarn is completed.
